Welcome to Nicola Godfrey Tile!!!!

Raleigh, North Carolina - such a busy city.  Everyone is moving, bustling about, making it hard for one to think properly. But if you catch 264 and head east, things immediately start to slow down a bit. There's room to breath and to think... people still drive tractors down the road, and horses and cows and all sorts of fun four-legged creatures.

Out here, among the wheatfields and wildflowers, sits the old tobacco barn that Nicola Godfrey Tile calls home.  Cracked and broken pieces of old pottery and tile line the walk, with hints of art pushing thru the ground. Kilns dry the day's work, and finished pieces glisten in the sun.

The process itself is a work of art.

And through this blog, the process will be revealed, with day-to-day updates, how-to articles and just plain interesting/fun stuff from Nicola.

Feel free to follow along and enjoy the journey!
